“The escape stage” literally is that moment when an object (usually a rocket) breaks free from the earth’s gravitational field and enters a free fall in space. It takes so much energy to get to that point, which is why it takes a huge tank of rocket fuel to lift anything up to space. But once in space, it’s hardly any effort to move around.

This EP represents that point where we were breaking out of a mold, free to head in any direction the music takes us.
